Texas Service Center
P.O. Box 851041
Mesquite, TX 75185-1041
When I tracked my receipt today (for both mine and my wife's package), I got the following status:
Status: Notice Left
We attempted to deliver your item at 1:47 PM on May 9, 2008 in MESQUITE, TX 75185 and a notice was left. It can be redelivered or picked up at the Post Office. If the item is unclaimed, it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.
Can any one tell me if I have used incorrect mailing address or is this status normal? Do I need to do anything about it?

Even when Americans sang their national anthem in a church, I felt not right. Churches are not supposed to be linked to states. There should be no country boundary within the Christian world.

For the people who are still waiting for their receipt notice after more than a month, are there any cases where people actually received the receipt notice after a month?
I'm in the same boat. I paper filed my application (thro attorney). They sent my papers by Fedex to Lewisville TX and I saw that it was recived on May 11 (signed for by "J. Walker")
I still haven't got my receipt notice and my cheques haven't been cashed. I called UCSIS today (30 days) and they told me they will send a mail to somebody and I should wait another 30 days for a reply
I'm wondering whether to give up on that application and e-file.
Advice?

My colleague filed 140&485 in August. Her case was sent to TSC. So far her 131, 765, and 140 approved. Also, she has done her FP. What a different! I was wondering what's the purpose of "bi-specilization"??

A recruiter would fall into a diferent job code basket. If the job offer is written to match responsibilities of your current job, you may be OK. This is really a question for lawyers and I suspect not all lawyers may concur in this case.
There is another option where you can get a new labor + new I140 for the new job and replace the 140 of your 485 applications. I would suggest you get the opinion of a second lawyer, just to be on the safer side.

I am just curious that how come you got your EAD and AP approved, since the current processing dates for California Service Center are as follows-:
I-765 Application for EAD (pending I-485) is 11 Weeks
and
I-131 Application for Travel Document is April 18, 2007
Have you received both the documents in hand? I am concerned because I have plans to travel back home in december and am not sure if i will have AP in hand by then.

Yes, you can. If it is with the same employer, you are OK., else there can be problems such as below.
if 180 days have passed since your 485 RD and and if you plan to use it with a different employer then any RFE raised for your 140 will not be answered by your old employer and your 140 will be denied.
if 180 days have not passed, your employer will revoke the 140 and you are in the limbo.
The best course is to wait 180 days from 485 RD and have an approved 140 before venturing out.
Please let me know Can we use EAD with out I140 Approval.
